​color expression series

The paintings in the “Color expressions” series were inspired by the interaction between emotions and expressions. My abstracts have been created with a deep will to show my inner-self; the paintings are about life, about feelings, about expressionism! The intensity, value, and hue of the colors portrayed are a unique representation of passion for art itself.

 

The paint reveals something that could not be expressed in words. Painting modern abstracts for me is the language of feelings and self-awareness. My paintings capture the feelings of my encounter with different life experiences by depicting the expressions into a visible form. I do so through the manipulation of colors and brush stokes.

 

I paint according to my moods. Sometimes they're consequential; other times they're not. Abstract art allows me that freedom. It's enigmatic. I don't always have to explain my paintings, and each individual has the freedom to interpret them as they feel. I believe the most complex emotions can be evoked from the simplest of forms.
